The Beauty Launch Pod Show shares insights, know-how and advice from industry experts on how to develop a successful beauty business.

Janet interviews beauty brands, retailers and experts across the beauty industry. She delves into the details of how changing trends have influenced the way in which people shop and discusses what it takes to make an impact in this sector.

In this podcast we cover marketing, product development and retail as well as how mindset, positive psychology and your health and fitness are critically important to building a successful business. We aim to educate, inspire, and showcase people who are doing incredible things across the industry.

Through sharing experiences and stories of how people go about launching their beauty brands and how retailers are adapting to accommodate the changes in the marketplace, we can help those on a similar path make things happen. This week we are talking to Alison Atia from Skin02 in Brisbane about how they launched their aesthetics skincare brand.

Alison is the founder of Skin02 an Australian Doctor formulated brand with a professional and retail range of dermatological skincare, cosmedical makeup, men’s grooming and several aesthetic devices. Vegan and cruelty free they have been developed to treat and protect the skin from harsh climates.

Sustainably sourced, and positioned at masstige price points, for the eco conscious consumer the brand is loved by everyday consumers as well as attracts a cult following of celebrities including Paris Hilton, Victoria Beckham as well as Miss Australia. Their professional in-clinic skincare range has been developed to improve and complement the latest aesthetic technology devices and treatments, which ensures clinical practices deliver optimum patient results while increasing business revenue and patient care.

The brand is sold in over 1 500 stores and clinics, including beauty department stores and online retailers, premium pharmacy groups, beauty salons and dermatology aesthetic clinics. Since their launch they have extended the brand into Vietnam, Korea, India, Morocco, USA and they are due to launch in the Middle East soon.
