A note from our founder, Janet Milner-Walker

The business of beauty

Welcome to Bespoke Advantage. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work across the beauty industry gaining first-hand experience working for contract manufacturers, beauty brands, retailers, distributors and travel retailers.

I have an MA in Strategic Marketing and a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, I have held positions as Global Product Director for Crabtree & Evelyn; Head of Beauty Buying & Merchandising for Al Tayer Group in Dubai, Global Marketing for De Beers, and senior buying and product development positions for the Heinemann Group, M&S, Boots and the Body Shop. With 20 years’ practical experience in the industry I have created beauty brands, launched brands including Estee Lauder, Chanel, Crème de La Mer into stores. Developed marketing and buying strategies to grow brands in-store, online, in duty free and across international markets.

In 2017 I decided to turn my strategic experience working for large, corporate companies into an agency that helps people to build a successful business in the beauty, spa and wellness industry. My vision is to build Bespoke Advantage into the best beauty brand management agency through empowering our customers with clarity, creativity, commerciality and results. When they  join Bespoke Advantage, they know that we are more than just an agency, we are part of their team.
